Clubs & Organizations

AARP, Washington Garden Club, American Sewing Guild, Pamlico Quilters Guild, Pamilico Senior Citizens, and the Helping Hands Senior Club are some of the Senior Organizations who use the Grace Martin Harwell Senior Center as their meeting place.

Senior Dance

A senior dance, serving adults (singles & couples) 50 and older, is held monthly at the Washington Civic Center.  DJ's and band's provide age appropiate music. Dances are held on the second Thursday night of every month. There is no alcohol, no smoking, & no children allowed at the senior dances.
