Grace Martin Harwell Senior Center
"North Carolina Senior Center of Excellence"

North Carolina Senior Games

The Senior Center supports and participates in the North Carolina Senior Games. Seniors participate in sports, performing arts and silver arts. Our local games are held in Pitt County. Our seniors have gone as far as National Games in competition. Examples of events include basketball, croquet, archery, bowling, shuffleboard, spin casting, football throw, field events, horseshoes and much, much more.

Seniors meet Friday mornings at 9:00 a.m. at the Bobby Andrews Recreational Center (231 E. Seventh St.) to practice senior games. Games available for play are bocce, horseshoes, croquet, pickleball, table tennis, and corn hole toss. This is a great opportunity to learn a new sport, have fun & make some new friends in the process!
